Cinq is a young man living in the tormented world of Harunha. His village was reduced to ashes by a single warrior, and he has been walking ever since, seemingly on a quest for something unknown to us. Along the way, he meets Blanche, a nymph in the grip of a man belonging to an evil order known as the Blue Brigands. Cinq rescues her from her predicament and agrees to let her stay with him. On the way, he tells her he's going to the village of Maaï to meet the local elder.
